Recently I took a trip to Statesville, NC, to see the fresco called "Images at the Crossroads." Ben Long created it and depicts Hecate standing at the center of three roads with images of what was going on in history around the time it was created. She stands with her hands against her chest in a gesture of welcome to all to approach.
Seeing it in person was amazing. The colors were vibrant, and the image towers over the doorway when you first go into the lobby of the civic center. It really makes a grand statement. These are the photos I took while I was there. I hope you enjoy it.
